Website ReDesign for Nottinghamshire Restaurant maypoleinn.com
Nottinghamshire hotel, restaurant and pub realised that their online marketing needed bringing up to date. We have refreshed their image with a web site refresh and ongoing SEO campaign.
The Maypole at Wellow is a prestigious venue with serving excellent food and providing luxury accommodation to tourists and business travellers to the region. However, their website did not reflect the quality of the establishment and a website redesign was agreed with online marketing to back it up.
The big opening image shows a smartly dressed couple enjoying food and wine, to reflect both the target market’s aspirations and the experience that the restaurant is offering.
The Maypole twist aspect has been brought it (Wellow is famous for it’s Maypole and celebrations, and the pub overlooks the green with the maypole on it) but it was felt that it didn’t need to be over emphasised, in case it cheapened the branding. The resulting design reflects very well the atmosphere of the venue – I feel it’s always important to visit a customer on site to get a real feel of the place.
Search Engine Optimisation
Extensive keyword research was carried out to find long tail keywords that the site could stand a better chance of ranking for. Also, the search terms have to reflect the target market of the venue. The ongoing campaign will continue the Restaurant’s Nottinghamshire location and the attractions that visitors may want to see when looking for things to do in the region.
The client is very happy with their new website redesign and feel confident that they can now both attract more traffic to the site and convert more of that traffic into guests to both the restaurant and the hotel. It really is a beautiful venue in an interesting a picturesque part of the world, steeped in history and legend, and now the online marketing is a true reflection of this.
