Hafren House Dental Website

Website upgrade for a dental practice in Alfreton from outdated technology to fully user friendly WordPress website design

Hafren House Dental Alfreton website design

When Hafren House Dental in Alfreton contacted me about their website they know they were in need of a redesign and technology upgrade, and also help with their website hosting.

Their old site was powered by Microsoft Front page – an outdated self publishing program that was phased out 2003. The technology had some inherent problems:

  • Very outdated code
  • Published pages as images – web engines couldn’t crawl the pages
  • Dubious design
  • Slow and clunky to use

The modern WordPress Solution to Web Design

We’ve build and deployed a fresh looking website based on WordPress. I’ve used custom fields extensively so that Claire and the staff and Hafren House can edit all areas of the site with ease. All the areas on the homepage are fully editable without the need for clunky web page builder such as Divi. The result is a fast loading website that still has 100{c2da33a4627ac09e3e358486e403b929ebe257e292cd0cabc99a2d1fded7bd3a} user friendliness for the owners.

Web Hosting Solved

We’ve also move the site and email to my own hosting platform, from BT. The BT service was proving problematical for Hafren House and they wanted a simpler solution for hosting and support from local supplier without the hassle of going through the tiresome BT support service.

Customer Satisfaction

Claire was kind enough to leave me a very positive review on Google Maps – here’s what she had to say about the experience of dealing with Jeff Guest Web Design:

“Jeff did a great job with our website, nothing was too much trouble. He even sorted out our emails for us. Its so refreshing to deal with such a friendly knowledgeable person. Would definitely recommend this company.”
